Excellent work. The issue of lightness; both literally being light and the way natural light and visual connection is handled, is I think a very important issue for the tea house. I like the weaving as a technique for manufacturing the piece with this in mind. I would like to suggest the if the shape of the strip is altered in width would it bend differently? Or in other words if you shape the edge can one control the way in which the piece bends to customize the shape of the "basket"?
Thank you for your comment. I have to test by 6mm plywood to bend by different width of strip. There is a DIY center near my university, so I can test it. If we know about relationship between curvature and width of strip, we can control shape and size of window. I will develop my idea until Sunday and think about another idea. Thank you very much.
